21 Jun 2016

Future Leader Anna from Norwich, who is studying at the UEA, is travelling to a rural village in central Malawi to carry out community work with St Andrews hospital’s Nutrition Rehabilitation Unit and the orphanage that runs alongside the hospital.

"I am extremely excited about living in a new country for eight weeks and the fund is helping me gain vital leadership experience, having been offered the opportunity to run some lessons at the local school as well as help the health surveillance teams with their community outreach work, assessing for malnutrition among local people."
