Great Norfolk Ice Cream Challenge participants from Norwich School hand over cheque to Friend In Deed

01 Nov 2019

Norwich School pupils from the Great Norfolk Ice Cream Challenge have handed over a cheque to the Norfolk charity Friend In Deed, made up from a portion of the profits made on the day.

The event took place at The Norfolk Show this June, where groups of sixth form pupils from Norwich School and Norwich High School for Girls competed in the 'Apprentice style' event to see who could sell the most ice-cream in a day.

The cheque will go towards Friend In Deed's work in promoting kindness through cross-generational friendships.

We teamed up with Norfolk Ice Cream company Ronaldos for this event, and were delighted to be part of a successful project showcasing Norfolk business working with Norfolk Young People to support Norfolk charities.
