Nigel speaks at Institute of Directors breakfast

Nigel today spoke at the IoD Non-Executive Directors' breakfast at Wymondham College. The event explored opportunities for NEDs in schools as governors. Nigel spoke as Wymondham College's Business Governor and former chairman of IoD, sharing his experiences as a governor. Also speaking were Jonathan Taylor (Wymondham College principal), Tim Coulson (Regional Schools Commissioner), George Freeman (MP for Mid-Norfolk) and Kirsty Watt (Academy Ambassadors). The breakfast was sponsored by Academy Ambassadors, which helps to link up business leaders with schools looking for Academy Trust board members. It was well-attended by over 50 NEDs interested in learning about how business leaders can help school governance.
